Liberty Ships Named After
Crown Point Chalet Guests
Note: Only deceased individuals
were eligible to have a ship named for them -
2710 liberty ships were built between September 27, 1941 and September 2,
1945.
It is quite possible that all of the following ships named for Oregonians
were
constructed in the shipyards of Henry J. Kaiser*, who was at the Chalet
Feb. 15, 1916.
You will also note that it was possible to trace the wartime activity of
four of the ships listed below.
